Our History
Audi's journey began in 1909 when August Horch founded the company in Zwickau, Germany. The name "Audi" comes from the Latin translation of "Horch," meaning "listen." Over the decades, Audi has become synonymous with innovation, luxury, and performance.
From the iconic Auto Union Silver Arrows of the 1930s to the revolutionary quattro all-wheel drive system in the 1980s, Audi has consistently pushed the boundaries of automotive engineering.
